Dear Chris,

I’ve returned home in China now, safe and sound. It’s my great privilege to have made friends with you in the Sino-Irish Cultural Festival, which featured our two nations’ different histories, customs and cuisines. During my stay in your country, I visited quite a few Irish museums and participated in the folk music concert. What impressed me most, however, was the tasty local dishes made with a variety ofseafoods.

Personally, I’ve benefited a great deal from this cross-cultural communication, with my vision broadened and mutual understanding promoted. I wish we could stay in contact, sharing our experiences on a regular basis. (102words)
