「重要发音技巧」

Welcome back. Well, this guy got asked out to dance by a Brazilian Samba dancer and left his wife alone at one place.

欢迎回来。好吧，这男的被一个巴西桑巴舞者约出去跳舞了，并且把他老婆一个人留在一边。

Hmm, his wife must be unhappy then.

嗯，他老婆肯定会不开心的。

Will he still be okay after coming back to his wife? Haha, guess not!

Okay, now let’s learn some important tips of pronunciations first.

1. 省略 [h] 的连读

在连音规则中，以“h”开头的单词 [h] 音近乎省略。因为 [h] 发音很特殊——只是出气没有摩擦，所以拼读时好像被省略了。

例如：

What~(h)appened？发生什么了？

文章中：

It says (h)ere that the school that is dancing now is one of the oldest and most prestigious samba schools in Rio.

2. 辅音 元音的连读

前后两个单词，前一个单词的最后一个音标是辅音，后一个单词的第一个音标是元音，通常要连读。

例如：

get up，get最后一个音是辅音，up第一个字母是元音音标。

文章中：

Look at how many dancers there are.

看有那么多的舞者在那儿。

连读分析：

句中look最后一个音/k/是辅音，at第一个字母a发/æ/是元音，所以就读成[lʊkæt]。

It means someone sells tickets at a higher price to people who don’t have tickets.

When you say “no kidding”, it means you would agree with someone and you are serious to say or to do something. It is for real.

No kidding! We'll miss the connecting flight.

别开玩笑了！我们将错过转机了。
